Variety: Pinot Noir,

Region: Côte d'Or – France

Winery: Comte Armand

  • Biodynamic principles

  • 5000 bottles produced

  • Aged 18 months in French oak (25% new)

  • A real find of a red Burgundy, giving far more than you'd expect from the price tag. Red fruit and berry on the nose, subtle vanilla and oak to follow, great tannic grip, mellow with hints of oxidative charecteristics due to the age. A banger of a Burgundy.

  • 14.5% ABV

  • 750ml

From the prestigious region of Côte de Beaune (Southern Côte d'Or), a blend taken from two Premier Cru vineyards in the village of Auxey-Duresses.

They follow biodynamic farming principles, no use of chemical herbicides & careful companion planting.

Hand sorted, destemmed grapes are spontaneously fermented, then aged in French Oak for 18 months.

An incredible value fine wine with massive ageing potential!

  • Sulphites are a natural biproduct of fermentation. As a fermented product, this wine contains sulphites.
