Here's what booking a large event with us will look like
1. Send your large party enquiries to contact@baraspen.co.uk or make a booking enquiry directly through our booking portal on our homepage. Make sure to note the date, time, and how many people you expect to join.
2. We will draw up a bespoke minimum spend for you and send a pre autherisation via email for you to fill and confirm your party.
3. Once confirmed we'll set up a quick 20min call or meet at the bar to finalsie food drink and service options for your event. Every event is special and unique to us, so the details here are crucial.
4. Your all done, get ready for the big day and send out those invites!
T&Cs
- Minimum spends are accumulated on one bill for your party and are inclusive of food, drink, and service. There are no hidden costs.
- Events which are cancelled within one week of the event date will incur the full pre-autherisation charge
- Any complimentary tastings delivered will incur a £50 fee upon any event cancellation
- We do not permit decorations which require adhesives or glitter
Private Snug & Courtyard hire
Seating Capacity: Up to 14
Standing Capacity: Up to 35
Pre-authorisation: £100
Min Spend: £1000 (negotiable)
Our intimate Snug and courtyard is just perfect for gatherings, tastings, receptions, and special events. For natural wine lovers, this much sought after space comes with knowledgeable and thoughtful service.
We also have the option of opening up the space into the café for additional seating and / or standing space.

The Main Bar
Seating Capacity: Up to 32
Standing Capacity: Up to 100
Pre-authorisation: £1000
Min Spend: £2500 (negotiable)
The Main room comprises of our front bar space and is often used as a private space for celebrations, anniversaries the likes. Its a gorgeous open space, surrounded by wine and can be hired exclusively with its own entrance.
The space works best for standing receptions and gatherings, perfect with canapes and wine flowing!
The Terrace
Seating Capacity: Up to 30
Standing Capacity: Up to 80
Pre-authorisation: £500
Min Spend: £1000 (negotiable)
Our outdoor area is semi - covered and heated. Its a great space come rain or shine for outdoor gatherings, wine tastings and informal get togethers.
This is a highly sought after space in Summer so do place your enquiries nice and early.
